Our Responsibilities

All adults in Scouting must operate responsibly in accordance with our child protection, equal opportunities and safety policies. The Scout association has some of the Worlds must rigorous procedures to prevent unsuitable adults from coming into contact with young people. These always include a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) enhanced disclosure.

Our policies are designed to keep young people out of harms way while still allowing them to enjoy the challenge and adventure of Scouting.
