What to expect

Most groups meet once a week on a weekday evening for 1 ½ – 2 hours. In addition to these evening meetings you can also expect outings, indoor residential, camping and other challenges appropriate for your child's ability.

There are many awards available for young people in the movement ranging from level one musician to the Queen's Scout Award. From the age of 14 upwards Scouting also actively encourages participation in the Duke OF Edinburgh Award Scheme.
